Lesotho, officially the Kingdom of Lesotho, is a landlocked country located in southern Africa. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and west, Swaziland to the southwest, and Mozambique to the east and north. Lesotho covers an area of 30,355 square kilometers (11,720 sq mi) and has a population of approximately 2,200,000. The capital and largest city is Maseru. The official language is Sesotho.
